Starting therapy might be challenging for some clients because it involves engaging
and building a trusting relationship with the counselor. I take a holistic and culturally sensitive approach by actively listening to my clients. I strive to view the world from their perspective and deeply validate their experiences. I address their concerns about therapy and explain how it can be beneficial, ensuring they feel heard and understood. I am dedicated to forming a strong bond with my clients and providing them with a safe space where they can feel secure, comfortable, and understood. This secure environment fosters their resilience and helps them develop coping mechanisms throughout their journey of growth and well-being.

MORE THAN JUST MY WORK:

I enjoy taking morning walks right after waking up. This practice clears my mind and allows me to appreciate the many blessings in my life. I enjoy cooking and sometimes share some of the food with my cats.

“Boundaries are the distance at which I can love you and me simultaneously.” – Prentis Hemphill.
